the truck would not get up and go until it opened the turbo around 2000 rpms then the truck would start to drive ok.it seems like it has no power at take off at all.By putting the petal to the floor it would take a minute to get to 5 then 10 then 20 once at 2000 rpms it would stay ok with power, but then when you stop it has no power at all on take off.the truck also is shaking at some speeds around 55 to 60. i hope someone is out there that can help.the fuel tank pickup fell of and logged dirt into the lines and filter so i replaced the filter and cleaned the tank noticing that i had about a half an inch of dirt particles in the bottom so i cleaned it .the truck seemed to have ran better the a couple of days later back to the same thing. I had some problems with my fuel so i took a injecter out and found that the o rings where bad . so i replaced all o-rings and the decided to open the injectors , i found that the nozzles in all injectors where clogged not everyone hole in each but 3 out of 6 holes in each one where clogged and 2 where completly clogged .so i bought some injection cleaner ,(sea foan} and used it , i cleaned all injectors. i also noticed on the shaft that go through the main housing for the opening of the inj. the shaft on 4 injectors where scored very bad. i polished the shafts but they all stilled had groves in them ,also noticing that the housing also was scored badly.
oh 2 injectors where missing o-rings completly from factory.
my question is 1. would the scoring on the shaft be a serious problem,
would it have fuel not going prorerly to the tip?

Reason: spelling
yeah if the plunger barrel assymbly is scored the injectors are no good. i doubt the injectors were missing orings from the factory it would consume soo much oil if that was the case.
definately time for a new set of injectors, fuel pump wouldnt be a bad idea seeing the dirt in the tank. i would drop the tank and make sure every bit of dirt is out of the system before the injectors go in too.
If I have to replace the injectors I guess I might as well put in performance injectors. What do you think? Whats the best way to go? Stock or perf & whos inj would you use.
beansdieselperformance.com gotta cut and paste link. he's got everything for your apps and great prices. im running a custom injector from him right now
I'm like everbody else, I want as much as posible but I don't want to sacrafice fuel mileage. I was't going to install injectors, just a chip and air seperator ... buyt now I have to. I'll look at beans. Thanks.
I have a shake at about 1200-1600 rpm when accelerating. I have 104,000 on my 1996 350. It started right after the CPS failed and as part of the job I had the shop replace the glow plugs. Started up like old time but shook like a bowl of jello at idle. I ran a tank of cleaner through it. That helped for most of it except the rpm range I mentioned. I there and injector problem or is something else out of whack?
