We dont deal with the utility company in cases like this. We just notify our Facilities Maintenance department and they handle things from there.

Pretty much Morris. Although it looks like they have it fixed. We just switched off the generator power.

Good afternoon gents
Its starting to look like its going to be a bit wet out here today, clouds are coming in from the south and we're getting off and on sprinkles. The waterline work down the street is at the point where they're starting to put in the washed gravel at the main junction but there's still 40' of blue pipe to go in and another load of washed just backed up past my place. These guys might be around for another 2 weeks and there's talk about maybe just replacing the whole line down our street seeing as there's 4 connection leaks on our 65 year old line. It looks like the rezoning is going through and the city is doing a water volume upgrade to meet the demands of future densification.

Glad that we don't get many power outages.

Perry one of our biggest issues on campus is power problems. There are some areas that if you look at the grid the wrong way or think of it the wrong way it will go out.

Pretty much Perry. But it is teh electric company that needs to upgrade the equipment not the university.

So why doesn`t the electrical company do the upgrades?
We don`t get many power outages but it`s a bit worrisome when it happens in the winter when it`s very cold.
Since it didn`t rain a lot I`m off to work.

We're in the 2nd year of a neighborhood wide upgrade to the water infrastructure and when the multi dwelling development starts there will be electrical and gas line upgrades coming which should start in about 2 years. This area was first developed in the early 50s so it was due for an upgrade.
