That sounds great about the new accountant Perry, I have an account for my tax returns, just need someone to do the booking so he doesn`t waste time on that.
Hopefully it`s a matter time for our daughter in law to recover.
No kinks in that cable?
Good evening Ian, how did you day go, did you finally get up in the skies today?
No kinks, barbs, flat spots or anything wrong with it, just a bit greasy but that keeps the sand and rust out. Ron at RMotorcycles ran the serial #s for me and I have a 72 650 motor with a right hand shift 5 speed transmission in a 68 pre unit, welded rigid frame with a 2" over front springer fork so it will register as a 68 and he'll certify it without a front brake as thats not available for that kind of DOT approved springer fork. Its a grandfathered part. He sure likes my bike combination and wants it done and on the road as its a traditional chopper bike with a fairly rare engine and transmission combination.
Thanks Perry, it`ll nice to hit the saddle when spring finally comes. That`s great news on your bike, any idea of when it might be on the road?
Hello Grant, couldn`t you switch places with that customs specialist and head to Mexico?
Went to the dentist to get my dental impressions done and in 2 weeks I should have new teeth and they won't be from a cadaver.
For the next 6 weeks my focus is going to be primarily on setting up the shop and listing stuff on the for sale market, but I'll be making a parts list on what I need. Won't be buying anything unless it happens to be available and the price is right. Some time in the second half of April the bike will get my fuller attention and hopefuly by the end of June it will be on the road. Insurance on it will be cheap so I'll get a full years coverage as around here you never know what kind of weather we're going to get come winter. I'll have 3 projects on the go and will work each one according to the parts supply.
Ford Trucks for Ford Truck Enthusiasts
Any idea of what your dentures will cost? I had mine done through our local university dental college so they were a lot more reasonable but took a lot more time than a regular dentist. Having 4 teeth pulled, a few fillings and a cleaning came to just over $2,000.
Once it warms up I`ll re organise my shop and get rid of a bunch of left over stuff from vehicles I don`t have any more.
Once your bike build is under way post some pictures of it.
Congratulations on the twins John, 6 is a nice number. I have 5 grand children, 3 girls and 2 boys.
Good thing I have a 2 for 1 Trojan coupon, LOL
I've got my pensions and income structured so that I get a monthly AISH payment of $118., as long as I keep the AISH check coming in I get free medical. This forces me to invest in myself by buying tools, equipment, needed parts, a motorcycle and whatever the shop needs in order to keep me self sufficient and not a $2300 a month blight on the government like my brother. It nets me about 360 a month and the dental was a bonus, it makes up for the 13k the government took out of my account thanks to a change in legislation by our previous provincial government.
