I can see BC being too expensive but Saskatoon way cheaper in most ways John. BC car insurance is by the kilometer, I`m sure it even worse if you`re under twenty one or have any traffic tickets.

Gas, housing, insurance and food is expensive in B.C but drugs are cheap there, funny how that works. My couches are leather Morris so they just need to be wiped, if I put covers on them the cats would claw them up and I'd have to cut off their legs which would make me more work.

Agreed John, all real estate has sky rocked everywhere. I`m glad I have some and don`t have to worry about buying any. How much more renovating do you have left?
Drugs are cheap in BC....what kind of drugs are we talking about Perry? I don`t want their legs cut off, it would really interfere with the cat`s toilet training.

Happy Thursday Mornin'all, G: We had all our window's replaced, and the front storm door. 2 storey house 15 window's and 1 door. $$$$$$$$$$. Now Jordan informs me, we are having water pressure problem's. Time to change the pressure tank, again. it seems it has to be done every 10 yrs? Got to call a plumber! Have a great day guy's.

Hello folks, I noticed on the way home today the price of gas jumped up to $1.17 a litre, $1.07 at Costco.
It`s good that you got your renos done when you did Gerry, now it may mean taking out a second mortgage.
It`s very cold here and about to get even colder John, I don`t even want to know the windchill..
Water pressure problems are a nightmare Grant, are you on city water or on your own system? I hate to say it but plumbers probably are as expensive as renos.

Plumber came. checked the whole system, and found nothing wrong. Morris: we're on well, and septic. $80.00 later, and nothing done, everything is fine. I haven't had a problem myself, but Dawn, and Jordan, lost pressure a couple of times. Jordan can shower at school, and I offered Dawn a sponge bath. I guess it's naked snow angel's for me if it happens again.

That was probably the most inexpensive bill from a plumber I`ve seen in a very long time. To get my well or rental septic systems serviced it`s about $120 an hr from the time they leave their shop till the time they get back. They do know their stuff so it`s worth it tho I have watch some of their parts pricing.

Morning everyone. Been a while. My 3 month old daughter is keeping me and my wife quite busy. She has started teething already. Yesterday we got her first giggles! It was the most addable thing ever! Because we travel so much with our dogs, and sometimes my wife even makes us bring our two cats(what a joy that is, traveling with cats!), we have decided to sell or trade in our 2011 Ford Explorer and we have on order a 2018 Ford Expedition Max. FYI for anyone considering one of those, Ford has decided to rip off Canadian's because to get a max version, you have to get either the Limited or the Platinum, no XLTs in Canada for the max!! My wife and I actually spend about a week contemplating if we should jump ship to a Yukon XL/Suburban just because the MSRP of the one we wanted was only $3000 more than the Expedition was after my government discount (Most brands offer me a discount because I work for Manitoba Hydro). So After the GM discount, Yukon/Suburban probably would have been $5000-10000 cheaper. That's a lot of cash. But we decided to stick with Ford. There is only three things I don't like about the new Expeditions; 1. The ecoboost, its a love/hate relationship for me. 2. No towing mirrors! After having towing mirrors on all my trucks, I hate normal mirrors!! 3. That rotary shift ****. I remember reading that Ford did that to "save space" on the console but it takes up just as much room as a shifter does!! Give me a column shifter if you want to save space, then I get more cup holders and actual space!

Sorry rant over, but my Expedition has an $80,000 MSRP, they should at least give you some options on the engine, mirrors and maybe even the shifter!

I'm pretty lucky with the plumber/electrician situation, my father in-law is a plumber and I am an Electrician. Works out great for us!

Hope everyone is healthy and has a great Easter Holiday!
