The long range forecasts are saying that its only a 3 day crapfest, seeing cold and cloudy up to freezing rain/ snow, but its over by wednesday for us and could start as soon as Saturday.
When I was loading up a guy showed up with a player piano and it appeared restored, next week is a crossover auction, antiques and higher end estate furniture with some tools. Will see all the listings on Tuesday when he uploads all the pictures, The place is Ricks auction.
I think when its time to get to gauges I'll just order a matched set out of the states and get my buddy Dwight to bring them up on one of his trips to ElMonte
I wasn't to impressed with the new place tonight. When I showed up and opened the vehicle gate the first thing I saw was a drunk sitting in a lawn chair pissed to the gills and calling to the garage for Jeff. When I walked into the garage there was Jeff trying to block my vision of his pop can pipe, he wasn't smoking pot from it. He took his 'pipe' into my house and finished it, when I was bringing the chairs to the house, he was waking up his drunk buddy, as he was passing out in the kitchen. There is definitely going to be a discussion about this in the morning.
Happy Friday Mornin'all. Morris; Check Midfifty's catalogue for the stuff you need to make your gauge work. I have the aftermarket frame tank, and sending unit. They had a recalibrated factory gauge I installed. It was in my opinion reasonable priced. Have a great day guy's.
The Dakota Digital gauges have an assortment of settings for all the different gauge readings and if that doesn't work there is also the option of a custom setting. Problem I had was the faulty Ford unit..
Finished work about an hr ago, now my weekend starts.
No such luck here Perry, the next two weeks are all in the single digits temp wise, not looking like a great Oct.

Sounds like you really have some real clean up to do in your new neighbourhood.
I`m trying to use all Ford components Grant and John. I find Mid Fifties shipping to Canada very expensive. For example they won`t simply mail a small item, instead they seem to like charge heavy on shipping and handling when it crosses the border.
Most of the people in this area are my age and older and are home owners so the problem that has shown up is limited to this character Morris. I had a chat with her this morning and she thanked me for bringing it up. Her husband called in the afternoon and said he would find away to restrict his activity in the future, he was at the house today and wasn't impressed with the lack of work he had done. He had seen the tires and some of my parts and cracked that he fully understood where I was coming from, everything hopefully should work out and he'll reimburse my lock costs on the garage.
Glad you got the truck up and running John.
Picked up $350 worth of PT fencing for when the weather craps out and my jobsite goes down. Its the start of a bunch of long days for me but it doesn't seem to be stressful or all that tiring.
I threatened to cancel my lease and take them to court because of him, let them know that I was the guy who brought back the neighborhood watch program and offered them the phone #s of the main people involved with the program. Told them that there was not going to be any frying pan to fire bullschit tolerated around here and let them know that we have chased a number of junkies out of the area. Let them know that the nephew of one of my references used to be a Sargeant in this district and now is with the CPS tactical team. We've cleaned up this area a lot and got a few of our lazy officers transferred out of this part of the district. The business revitalization zone committee is enjoying seeing this area getting cleaned up and our Alderman is running for mayor in this election. I stumbled into a good situation in March when I went door to door in order to restart this watch program. Turns out that I know about 1/3 of my neighbors, can't wait for them to see me rebuilding the gates and repairing the fence on this property.
This is likely one of our last nice mornings for having coffee on the deck.
It`ll be a nice neighbourhood once cleaned up.
Hello Shaun, have a good day.
Was going to run to Burnco for some 3mm sand, close to $100 a yard, I know that I can get sand for 55 a yard but delivery only for an extra $100. Time to talk to customer and figure out all the places we can use sand and put together a monday order for 3 yards + seeing as thats where we start saving money. Have to move the paver stones to site any way so I guess thats todays job. Still warm out here.
This new neighborhood is pretty tame already Morris, it was a shock seeing this crap in my yard given the type of people I'm renting from. They've known him for years and the husband says this has cropped up before and it's going to end one way or another but knows that the place is vulnerable right now as I'm not in it full time. He knows that I have some valuable stuff and doesn't want me to lose it because he acted to fast in dealing with the situation. All should work out okay.
That sounds like some pretty expensive sand, not sure what it goes for here.
a friend charges $60 for delivering small loads up to 3 yds.
Still warm here but after this weekend rain and colder weather coming in for at least the next 10 days or so.
I hope it all works out in the neighbourhood by the end of the day.
