This tow truck driver pulled a Calgary, 2 I'll be there in 10 minutes, 1 I'll be there in 5 minutes and a, oh your still waiting, I thought you left. He had a tow before me and they must've paid him in cash, so either he went to the beer store or he got a hoe and went to the beer store. Calgarians are useless, but you can always count on them to screw up, tried my other tow truck driver and his phone is disconnected, wonder why.
Wind finally dropped here but still had a couple of showers late afternoon. Wasn't looking forward to heading out tomorrow for Alaska in the 100k winds. Will be back in 6 weeks hopefully summer will arrive before we return. Take care!
I haven` t heard a lot about Lyme disease here in Sk. John, I think that there`s usually only couple of cases or so a yr.
How are things in Tennessee John? Hope everything is fine.

I don`t think we got a lot of rain but like you lots of wind.
A good thing that I don`t need a tow truck in Calgary, I hate sitting around and waiting for someone to show up if and when they feel like it.
Be safe Darrell.
I know a few guys with deck trucks that have no problem showing up, but they work days and a deck truck won't work in my alley due to lack of turning room. Its the wrecker drivers that seem to be a bunch of flakes, haven't encountered one that wasn't more concerned about drinking than working.
I don`t use a tow truck often but I`ve never ran into any flakes when I have. Here the big towing companies are very reputable as are most if not all of the lone wolf types.
Here the big companies are expensive and even if your really specific about needing a wrecker or boom truck they send a deck truck as deck trucks start at $160. Darlene had an accident the week before she went to Arizona. The accident was 100' from her house but got convinced her car needed to go to the impound in order for the appraiser to look at it. the towing part of the bill was $470 to the impound and back to her place. I tied up her front plastic work with a rope so that Sigurd could drive it to the body shop.
Three years ago it cost me $100 to get my 67 Mustang home from about 15 miles away by one of the big towing companies in Saskatoon. I was really **** about that car before I sold it so it well worth it just for the piece of mind.
City Wide our main towing company won't send a wrecker out for a truck and I need one because of how tight the alley and driveway are. I just need a truck that can get the rear axle of the truck inside the driveway, I'll do the rest with the come a long and chain hoist. This part of the alley is really tight due to a hydro pole that makes it impossible to even jacknife a 12' trailer into the spot.
Happy fantastic Friday everyone!
I`m glad I have lots of room on the farm, all my buildings are spaced out for lots of room. A semi with a pup would have no problems getting around it.
Hello Grant, John and Ian, have a great day guys!
