I am so sick and tired of slicing and dicing metal, glad tomorrow is the last of the cutting and then the yard part is done. Have a trailer load to put on the truck also.
I got about 6 hours worth of clean up done, will wrap up the back yard tomorrow and hope to get started on the trailer metal. Sorting and cutting takes most of the time and its going to be a tight squeeze getting this truck in. Tuesday I'll be hopefully at the 50s truck getting it ready to pull out and it will get towed here on wednesday. Have a small sidewalk job to do on Tuesday and Wednesday as well. Heard $160 a ton for what I have.
With all the rain coming our way I doubt I`ll be able to gather any scrap metal in the next few days but $160 a tonne certainly gets my interest.
I have a small sidewalk, 3 x 20, I`d like re done but I doubt I`ll find anybody interested in a small job like that. Also to get a cement truck to deliver such a small amount of cement would cost a small fortune. I have thought of getting another cement project lined up at the same time to make it worth while for someone.
You would need 720 to 800 Sq ft of concrete work done in order to justify having a load of concrete or a contractor to come out. 60 Sq ft is only 20 cubic ft of concrete at a 4" depth ,about 10 to 12 bags of mix.
Happy Sunday Mornin"all. (Mother's Day). Levelled the deck yesterday. I guess after 18yrs, the weight of the hot tub took its toll. time to move it to the lower level. (that's what Dawn thinks). So, we're going to extend the chainlink fence for the dog run to surround the deck. That way the dog's will be able to run free in the yard, instead of being in their run, or on the main deck. Spring has Dawn full of ideas. Looks like rain outside. I have a ton of dandelion's that need attention. Have a great day guy's.
Happy Mother's Day to all our moms living or passed away.

I wouldn`t mind an apron for parking and it would be easier cleaning snow with the Bobcat.

Semi retired Gerry but I am keeping my gravel truck and of course the Bobcat. Now mainly I work for one large company and there is a bunch of work this yr after two slow ones.
My dandelion's are springing up all over the place too Grant, time to load up sprayer and hook it up to the tractor.

Spent the day half asleep, weather was crappy and I had hit my exhaustion point, have a cup of neo-citron in front of me so that should help.
Wish my neighbor would finally come through with his saying that hes picking up a large bag of weed n feed from Costco, keeps coming back with everything but. 9 kg bag is at crappy tire for $28, Home Despot is 3 blocks away from there and they may be better priced or at least will match the price.
Tomorrow may be the same weather wise as today so that may slow me down a bit, may spend the day eating to gain back energy.
It was a decent enough day here tho cloudy for most of the afternoon. More showers and rain in the forecast for this week so likely I won`t get to spray for dandelions. I could try some weed n feed, it would likely really bring the grass along with this rain.
