Sorry to hear about your buddy Gerry, these things come out of left field sometimes.
Don't get to many car shows myself around here, don't like the big shows but enjoy doing the parking lot gtg's.
Checking out a sponsored home owner ship program that matches your savings program 3 to 1, kind of hedging myself for next year
I wish there was a parking lot GTG here but I'd be the only one to show up in this town. Down in Thunder Bay there are as many as 100 show up at the Canadian Tire parking lot on Thursday nights..
I'm not real big on car shows either Morris, best trophy I got is the ones I drive..
I hear you John, these are my trophies.
I don`t care for the big shows either Perry, I do enjoy doing the smaller ones in parking lot more.

In the summer the Shifters Car Club have a monthly get together at the A&W on the first Sat of month. I think about 40-50 cars show up, since they come and go throughout the evening it`s hard to tell.
Theres a Timmies on Barlow that people show up at on the weekend, I'm usually to busy to make it out there but should try anyway. Its mostly a gathering for the kids looking for a street to race on but theres some old time cruisers that show up.
Would be nice to meet some more people with the same basic interest. I'm not restricted to 1 brand over another, if its a good piece of equipment, then it is of interest to me.
I don't mind old hemi's, nail heads, Cadillac motors, flat heads and a variety of different older motors, not to thrilled at the sight of an unoriginal 350 no matter how its setup.
No fog here Grant but the BC forest fire smoke is a possibility.
Send that rain here Gerry, after tomorrow`s 29°C we`ll need it.
In a couple of weeks when harvest starts we won`t want rain either John.
