I meant to say that Perry has an interesting project.... 
A lot has been seeded around here in the last week or two so rain would be welcome here too. Do you think that most of the crop is in except for the north country Colin?

From what I hear most of the crop is in south of Highway 16. I hear they haven't started yet around Hudson Bay and Preecville.

To set the record straight you are an interesting guy with an interesting project Perry! 
The other night I started my 53 and drove it out of my shop then shut it off, when I tried starting it a while later it wouldn`t even turn over. I guess all the battery had in it was that one start. After charging the battery qit started right away.
I`ve heard that some areas won`t be seeded this year because of wet conditions.

How many miles on the motor and how long did it sit for before you put it in and started it up. Could be that the lifters need to pump themselves up a bit more or electrical contactes are corroded a bit.

Under 100,000 Kilometers and sat for 15 years, all the electrics are new..I'm running some Seafoam and about a quart of transmission oil in with the motor oil and running it for about a 1/2 hour each day. I've got it running pretty good now but still has a little miss in that one cylinder that has the lowest compression..
