Ok so in the folder syncmyride folder I need to unzip those files and keep them in the folder and then get rid of the zipped files out of the folder. Sorry not a computer guy
Yes when you open the Flash Drive there should be 2 items.
I have no idea what is wrong with this. I have unzipped all files and plugged it in and it still says there is no media on the usb. I have made sure that it is a 2.0 and that it is formatted correctly. Also I cannot get it to do it when it is connected to Wifi.
My F350, which originally came with v2.0, and then manually updated by me to v2.2 was updated by Ford this morning to...v2.2. My Update history on the Ford Owners site reflects this change. So, what does this mean? It means that even tho some of us updated Sync3 manually thru USB there is no need to find a way to "rollback" to v2.0 in order to get Ford's "official" release.

Thats great news. It was certainly a fear that I would be left orphaned with an oddball 2.2 install, but for the traffic alone it was worth the update.
I set up my truck's wifi to connect to my home network after I first got it. Everytime I pull in the driveway it checks for updates. It checked, and updated the software this morning.

Create an account, login and then go to the Sync and Vehicle Features Tab. Select Check for Software Updates.

My guess based on how we do firmware updates in our company is that they are doing a rolling update meaning they don't push the update to all vehicles at one time. They stage them according to geography or when the truck was built etc.
Had my 250 check for updates. It currently says it is up to date on 2.0.
I get the same, last updated Aug 16, 2016 and no updates available at this time. I guess I need to get the 2.0 to 2.2 update since others say it will still do the factory update again.
I have tried to update over wireless multiple time connected to both my home and my phone's hot spot but it hangs on checking and never finishes. I waited 25 minutes this last time. How long is it taking for you guys?
