Yup, our chance of snow looks pretty good too. This morning the weather guesser I watch put us right on the line between 3.5" to 7" of snow. I seen that and thought I was in Missouri already. And Saturday we roll the clocks forward, and that to me say's that Spring is coming.
Pipes sprung another leak. About flooded the crawlspace, had to put a pump down there to empty out the water, well most of it. This time the leak is on an elbow going into the water heater, and that fitting ain't coming out. Looks like it's time for a new water heater (I've been told it needed to be replaced a few years ago, so it's not a surprise). However don't think I want to tackle it tonight, those suckers are heavy.
So here's to hoping it doesn't snow this weekend and we have nice weather. I need the house to dry out and nice weather to install the water heater...
Southern Missouri is getting paddled again tonight. Just in the last hour there were 2 Tornadoes on the ground just west of the town we moved from, and for some reason, plan to go back to.
Welp we are on the road to Asheboro, breakfast stop in Lagrange. GPS says 2.5 hours to the zoo. Looks like rain rolling through but should be clear by the time we get there.
Sorry about the plumbing Josh. Hope you get it sorted out before the blizzard of ought 16 hits this weekend.
Larry, Hope yall have a fun safe trip to the zoo. Hope you brought your walking shoes. Last time we went with the family I think I wore the soles off my sneakers.
Maybe it's because I'm from a little country town.... but everytime I go any where need the big city of Raleigh, Apex, Cary, Durham or so on I always end up wanting to drag some ******* out of there vehicle and beat them senseless.
Avoiding 40 is the ticket around that time. Google maps does a good job of getting you around the traffic jams and such.
Looking forward to a HOT shower today, just waiting on a friend to get here to help move the water heaters.
I ended up jumping off around exit 297 and back on about 306.. just to get back on 70 at 309. I still wanted to beat the **** out of people, I'd end up killing someone of I had to live up there.

Coming from 50 miles from the NYC area I95 in CT, going to L.I. NY or Brooklyn, NY. thru tolls and over bridges with tolls or pulling my car trailer thru cross Bronx to NJ to race and all with a S*** load of traffic, around here is not too bad.
