I'm now at 45k miles on my 2019 and no problems at all with my truck. I've pulled 60s muscle to Neb., North Carolina, Ohio, and several spots here in Texas in a 24' enclosed Haulmark and put it on 65mph in cruise control and just let it do its thing. I realize it's low miles but I love this truck. It gets dealer serviced when the dash says it's time. Just checking in.
Up until just recently, I've had ZERO issues with my 2012 F250 with the 6.2L engine...and from what I'm reading, the issues I'm having are minor.
I've had to replace consumables like belts, idlers, spark plugs, etc...but nothing "major".
She'll turn over 160,000 km (100,000 miles) on this next trip of ours and she doesn't burn a drop of oil between changes....NOT A DROP, even though her main task is to pull our RV.
Here in BC, if you want to go anywhere, you have to climb a mountain...whether it's the Coquihalla Highway, the Hope-Princeton, Monashee Pass, Salmo Pass, Pine Pass...everywhere you want to go is uphill!
I use nothing but 5W-30 synthetic oil and Mobil1 filters.
Just changed the coolant from Orange to Yellow...
Basically, since it is strictly a TOW vehicle and not a DD, I cut the service intervals in half, in terms of fluids.
Have been reading the forum posts since I got my 2016 250 couple years ago and appreciate everyone’s knowledge. Looking for a new to me truck to add to my work fleet and wondering what to look for with high mileage 6.2 and if it’s worth it. I’m gonna post the carfax link to a 2013 with 180k. Any feed back would be greatly appreciated

That trucks been through a lot of owners over it's lifetime so I would proceed with great caution. Ending up in a auction is the biggest red flag. Don't believe everything on Car Fax especially when it comes to accidents.
