Yes, I know. Gonna buy another fuel pressure gauge at Harbor Freight when I get paid. Hopefully this weekend.

I'm so glad I have a permanent fuel pressure gauge, for less than $150 you could have bought the 1 gauge A-pillar pod, paint, gauge/sending unit, and adaptor to install it yourself. Then, you'd always know your fuel pressure while driving, or after changing your fuel filters! <REALLY HELPFUL>

I realize money is tight, but thinking through the plan before you pay other folks to give you less than helpful information really helps save your hard earned $$$. You now have to spend money to confirm what the person you paid said?

FWIW, often FTE is WAY too helpful at how to spend your money, but OFTEN it's on tools that help you gain knowledge, experience, and usually skills. I realize, paying folks to fix things is easy and usually quick, but not always the most cost-effective, nor help you in the future. It's like that old adage: teach someone how to fish vs. feeding them daily.

thanks for the advice. Yes a built in fuel pressure gauge would be nice, but I change trucks so often, it's not worth it for me. And yes, I try to buy tools rather than pay techs, but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do.

It's not permanent. You can move it from vehicle to vehicle.
