So last night my AC quit.... I got a buddy that use to have his own heating and air company coming by tonight after he gets off to check it out. Hoping for good news, because I really don't have a couple extra grand laying around to replace the unit right now.

Good luck with that, I know that's no fun. Had to replace my outdoor unit earlier this year, luckily my guy was looking out for me and found me a good used unit that would work with my old air handler. I'm on the old refrigerant which is more expensive now, plus not many replacement parts that are compatible.

That's what I was worried about! Knock on wood seems to be okay right now. Had a bad breaker, it wasn't tripped but wasn't getting any power from it. It's running this morning anyways, I just hope there wasn't another issue that killed the breaker.

Good morning everybody
Out the door in the next 90 minutes or so. Today is our 21st anniversary and I have things to get, that I could have done yesterday, but obviously didn't. Then light some charcoal for 3 slabs of Baby Back Ribs that I prepped yesterday.

Y'all be safe

It's the year for it I guess. I had to replace my whole unit, handler and compressor. My guy was NOT looking out for me, but on the bright side I have a whole new Carrier unit with this old house. Too bad the money was earmarked for two other projects, replacing the copper piping and a new roof. This has been an expensive year for me. Next year will be too, as I am going to work on getting this house ready to sell or rent, possibly. Mary dislikes my house with a passion, and I try to give her what she wants. But I am sure going to hate giving up the garage and the shop.

Congratulations Bob and Shari. Our 18th is Monday.

Yall have a good weekend. Busy busy at our place. I'll be tinkering on the trail bike most of Saturday. I got parts laying around everywhere waiting to be installed. Anyone is welcome to stop by and hang out and watch me sweat and cuss. I'm sure there are some beers laying around here somewhere as well.

She knows. We've used them before on camping trips, we just haven't bought one yet.

Thanks John, and I "think" James' wife's name is "Kim". So I went with "You Both"

Ribs are coming along nicely, front and side yard are mowed, one cold one down, another couple or so to go, then I'll mow the back yard. Or, maybe I won't

Worked my 10 hours, came home and woke the old 7.3 up that's been setting over a month now. She was not happy at all! Both batteries completely dead. Then went to retrieve my trailer and had to unload the truck that was still on it. As I'm back in the driveway my 97 that I loaned to my cousin to Move comes pulling back in the driveway when it was supposed to be back Wednesday night or Thursday morning. So finally I have all my vehicles and trailer back in the yard.

Off to the race tomorrow, I'm sure it is going to be super wet with all the rain we've had lately.

Evening all! Flew back to MN and drove back with my tools and one project car I did't move yet. Came back to some water...
