Bob, can't wait to see how that rocker turns out. After its finished let me know and I'll come out for a beer on the porch with you.
Your on!
I made that Cedar bench that we have on the front porch. I really like wood working, and had a pretty decent collection of tools before we moved.
Forgot to mention Kim and I went to an estate auction a few weeks ago. Had the best time. There were some solid deals being made out there. It gets exciting when folks really go after the same thing. They usually end up paying more but it's fun to watch. We got three, solid wood, barrel chairs and one solid wood rocker for 10 bucks each. My wife had to drag me away or I would have been there all day. I bid on more stuff but always held at my personal figure so I was out bid quite often but it's cool. It was lots of fun.
I will not be mentioning estate auctions to Mary any time soon. She likes spending that money too much as is. I can usually get away with going to Walmart once or twice a year. Since I started dating her, we're there about once a month.
Got the truck back from the dealer, don't really feel like the steering wheel is straight, and still feel a vibe that feels like tires to me around 35-45. I really hate paying people to do things that I can do, with the right tools. I never feel like they do as good a job as I would.

I hear ya, I'd rather do things myself too.
Who ever did the alignment may not have locked the steering wheel straight when they set the toe. The alignment may be right, just not a straight wheel.
I'll be out the door later this morning for Dunn.
I guess that's where Tim's car will be taken to. So I'm the errand boy this morning trying to speed the paper work so he can get his money from the insurance company.
We were told his 2014 Focus may take 2 to 3 weeks to get here. Now it almost sounds like it's not far from being shipped.

Yeah, the print out shows good, everything with that nice idiot green. I'm pretty sure it's just the steering wheel that they didn't center first, and it's not that far off, Oh well I'll live. It'll make the drive to VA and back in a couple of weeks.
Need to go pick up the fuses I ordered. I'm not sure how a dealer can't keep fuses in stock for the trailer light circuit. It's the one fuse I blow on almost every truck. Oh, and no, I haven't rewired the trailer yet. I used the car hauler last, and it blew the 20 amp fuse that I found, factory had a 25 amp.

Tony, some of the people here just can't be good. I'm not pointing any fingers...
Didn't make it up the mountain. Torque converter is gone... No movement in either direction. Neighbor pulled the trailer back and truck came home on a rollback...
I doubt I'll make it to Badin Lake. I'm keeping my reservation, mainly because all I would get back is two dollars...
I guess the Taurus is an option.
I'm pretty bummed right now so I won't make a decision until I get some sleep.
