Have a good trip Matt.

My kids are on a 2 hour school delay due to the rain. WTF?!!! I know what their explanation is and I still think its dumb and we are getting soft as a species.

Closed now, due to supposed incidents at the school. Delaying my fishing trip!

Dern Tony, Sorry to hear about your break down and missed trip. Hope you get the truck back together.

Please don't let that stop you from coming to the fall fling. Taurus will do just fine. Or borrow the escape. Or I'll come get you.

Tony,

Sucks about the transmission. So your not getting any driveshaft movement in forward or reverse. Think it's the TC? A ZF5 is always a nice option if you can find one and do all the changes that it will need. Sure it wasn't the chain in the BW 1356 XC that went? I'm assuming it's a BW 1356 though, which could be wrong.

I'm pretty sure it's the TC. Trans temp went to 200* in ten miles. Last year it never went over 180* to and from OBX.
The TC flashed on me one time as we were almost back home. That got my attention.
Still moving forward when I stopped and selected reverse to back the TT into it's parking spot. No reverse movement. Selected D and had very little forward movement. Lots of RPM's very little movement and then nothing.

That could be a pump or fluid pressure problem too...

I haven't pulled the code yet. Just want to get it back up on the carport. The Ranger had it moving until it dug a six inch deep hole in the gravel with it's one and only drive wheel...

I finally got my rocking chair project sanded, and together yesterday. And a good coat of gun stock stain on there today. Now let it dry for a day or so, and see about getting some clear polyurethane on there

Shari and I have worked out in the yard and decorating the front porch for Fall.
We even fired up Ka'Bluey do to some errands around town. And came out of the grocery store, to see a couple of classic truck fans. Stopped and talked with them a few minutes. I didn't get too many compliments on the 2011, or the 2013, but bring that Ol' boy out, and somebody's gonna turn their neck to look.
Hope y'all are able to get outside and enjoy this beautiful day.

Unk Bob

I wanted to share a couple of pictures of my Red Necked, Extended Range, Hedge Trimmer

This tree in our front yard has needed trimming for a while, and this morning it was covered in spider webs. Good day to go tree trimming.

Been working in the yard here too Bob. Good day for it.

Also cleaning the garage, well, putting stuff away anyways.
