That and the fact that half the province can't afford a vehicle anymore. Was talking to my insurance agent and she says a lot of people are cancelling their insurance and are running off their registry tag.
Blue circle sent me my updated ins as I was bitchin about the $240 rise in my insurance last November, price hadn't changed $1,117 for a 40 year old truck, no at fault accidents in 39 years of driving and 37 years since my only traffic offence, a speeding ticket in the Ontario/Manitoba border RCMP training zone. She started to tell me how it's not unusual for guys with new $50k trucks to pay 3 times what I pay, insure my truck for 17k and I won't bitch then. silence while checking alibi sheet. Told her that I was going to shop around, already had. Then she cracks about not cancelling my ins and running off my registry tag as every agent in the office gets 1 to 3 calls a month where their response is " I'm sorry officer, they cancelled their policy on x date and are no longer covered". That insurance, plate scam was popular around Toronto during the early 80s with early 20s white males because of how high the rates were.
Because of my health, there are times that I won't drive the truck out of knowledge that a coughing fit or blacking out due to coughing can get a bus stop full of peeps killed. Every year theres a newspaper story about someone getting killed by a health impaired driver. I'm not going to be that driver, plain and simple.
HAHAHAHAHAHA, I love it....... words to live by for sure.....
I dont wanna be 'that guy' either
I remember drivin back in the 80s without proper ins, but we had 100 dollar coverage of some type
was it called 'unsatisfied judgement' or something like that
Back then for me, Milton was 32k in population and everyone knew the P.L.Robertson story, I sold waterbeds out of the house and sold and installed lock systems as Halton Security. There were feilds between Mississaugua, Oakville and Burlington, Ancaster was sepperate from Hamilton. Sure has changed.
Its a darn mess down there these days, I lived in Toronto on Victoria Park at Eglington back in 1980,
one yr was all I could take even back then ...... I was the transmission man at Cottman T on Laird
Yes Robertson invented a safer screw driver.....
I had a waterbed back then & so did most of my friends
Good day guys
Hows the 92 going Puddy
The oxygen levels must be pretty low as I can't remember who here is doing the Tbird irs swap, curious as to how that goes.
Well I've had an interesting few days, let's sum it up with this picture.
Which then ment that the ********* also took my keys for the 92 from the centre console.
So then since they stole the viper flobs, I had to go spend $1800 on new alarm systems.
So I have changed out all the lock cylinders and the ignition one and also rekeyed my tonneau cover.
So I also had some practice with my lock pick set. Getting better.
Damned junkie F-wads, sure know the feeling, stopped our problem by chasing off the CPS and handing the street over to the competition. 0 crime rate and no more junkies doing dope or tricks in our alley's or backyards now, cost us nothing. Hope your problem isn't the same.
