OMg that all sounds like a platform for a horror movie, no one should have to endure that must bull s***.
I have no words for how crappy that all is ....... I'm sorry I asked Pman
I guess my pathetic life isn't so bad
No problem GIGGER, this situation has turned around enough that its becoming my entertainment for the next however long it takes to destroy aholes life. I can be a ***** too, just don't feel the need to exercise that part of my personality unless it's warranted.
I've done the family day fishing trip a couple of times 73, the only fish I've seen here was caught by a 5 year old. She got so excited we had to chase down the rod and recatch it so it could be released. LOL, it was in the High River area.
Hear we're finally getting some wet stuff coming in for the next day or 2, could sure use it
Speaking of precipitation and fishing, all this warm weather will mean low flow in the rivers if the government decides to make transalta empty out the hydro reservoirs for flood mitigation again. That shut down fishing for a while last year.
About the only way I can catch a fish is by jigging in the weed bank or going to the store, I did snag a Pickerel once, dragged it across the Assiniboine river by the hydro plant in Brandon.
Ah privateer fishing in Manitoba can not be beat. Reminds me of being under 14 and fishing with my friends down by the damn at first street in Brandon.
Let's hope for some precipitation or the camping season will be cut short this year with a fire ban.
NOW THAT is the way a project should look like when you start them Puddy, I'm about to start the last phase of my gantry system to make it easier to work on my toy, it's really hard to drag the engine hoist across a gravel floor.
That river can be a hard river to fish out of until you learn it Soko. The spot we liked was in Selkirk by the lock, there are so many species of fish there that 12 catches will net 10 different types of fish, from Carp to bass, trout, saugers and everything in between. Used to go to a place called Maryjanes reservoir for trout and suckers, think it was by Manitou
So we were talking about a meet-up. Anyone interested in that still? Im slammed evenings and weekends, but if anyone wants to meet in the daytime on a weekday, I am game.
Also, once went fishing for pirahnah in the Amazon. I was sick as a dog, but had a great time. Around here I usually catch a ride in my buddy's drift boat and float down the Bow. Enjoy the scenery more than the fishing.
Hear we're getting a misting today, this barometric pressure has my sinuses doing all sorts of weird things, mostly fluctuating hearing. It can be pretty funny when I'm talking to someone and I have to keep turning side to side in order to keep hearing them.
"would you stand still,... nooo" LOL
Just went to grab a coffee and realized I forgot to put water in the machine, ho ho ho I'm just off to a flying start today, think most of this day is going to get written off. Oh well guess I make like a tourist and bum around 17th for a while, check out the tool store girl, maybe theres a new cashier somewhere who's hot for teacher.
A GTG would be nice, am on restricted driving til the of the month but I got that #1 bus that goes from from forest harlem to COP and it stops at the end of my street. Convenient
