I used to do some pretty dangerous back alley rally with a 1993 Hyundai Excel. That was a good car to drive fast because the skinny cheap tires were the weak link in cornering and braking, and the tires gave up so easily, the handling was crappily predictable. Since then I've driven much better cars that were much less friendly at the limits.
I grew smarter soon after that. I mostly drive like a respectable citizen now.
I stay within the speed limit, just don't slow down unless I have to, it's to expensive getting 1 tons up to speed. But then again I'm a bit prickish about my suspension, tires and brakes, the $1400 Bob Bondurant performance driving school in Mont Treblant helped with the driving skills
Oh what gorgeous weather! It was above zero today so I took the opportunity to wash my VW! I wash outside at home as much as I can and February doesn't leave that luxury so often!
What's on your minds, fellows? Are we done with winter already? I heard someone say a few days ago that this is likely to be breakup already. What's your opinion? I want to hear yours before I state my own!
Yeah that does seem like breakup there, eh? I just drove though town and the gas is 69.9. My home town is usually about 11 or 12 cents more than Edmonton. How can the oil patch keep going at that price? The short answer seems to be "they cant". There must be a long answer as well, because it's not totally shutting down yet.
Oil companies can write off their losses and the Government lets us pay for it in our taxes. Bombardier gets front door welfare and the oil companies get back door welfare, tax payer gets to pay for it, whoopie.
