Yea there was a mini meet in Sherwood park. I believe there is another one near Windermere tonight but I'm having a few wobbly pops tonight.

I went from 2 cell phones, cable and internet at $197 a month to 1 smart phone with 5 gigs of net for $84 a month and was getting everything that I needed. As long as I dont use my phone as a wifi hotspot my bill never changes and I get more done. Thought that was a pretty good deal Gerry

Well Gerry this is a bit of a convoluted response but here goes.

The original project is my 78 F350 dually dump truck that was retired due to motor vandalism, it's being converted to an 5th wheel RV puller. It's got a 89 F350 dually chassis under it as it sits and there's a 88 F450 donor beside it but I haven't been able to work on it for 2 years due to the main project that has been a major $ and time consumer. The main project involves a group of redneck drunks, drug addicts and redneck cops that dont live in this hood but like to destroy the vehicles, houses and properties of the seniors, crippled, terminally ill, stroke, cancer victims and and anyone who's not white in this neighborhood. These are the one that give Calgary a bad name and rep, they're also the only terrorists that have affected the lives of the good, honest people on my street. Enough said.

I do a lot of vehicle, property repairs and property maintenance for the residents in this area plus the occasional landscape, fence job and a small basement suite rebuild. Have an ongoing yardscape going in my backyard. Put in a bbq, picnic table area, sidewalk and dry well in last 2 summers This year I'll dig out my fountain pump and put in a small mountain range style diorama fed by the down spout water. Have a small shady backyard that's not big enough for a garden but would be a nice social sitting area.

2 autums ago I picked up 2 portable shelters from Canada tire, 10x10 & 10x20 and put them side x side and opened up a common wall. Put in a grade beam and framed in the opening with some 6x8 beams, this shelter sop contraption is always in a state of modification, has an electrical system and 12 sets of flourescents in it. Dug out 50' of trenching so that I could put in a set of tracks and axle system in order to build a gantry crane, last spring. This has been going off and on now for almost a year and completion is in sight, currently making the brackets to join the beam to the legs, then its time to hook up the inground cables and see if the motors are strong enough to to move it, if not, I got hydraulic pumps and motors to try.

Did a real cheap resto and box replacement on my 75 F250 last winter/spring as I needed the box for my 78 and it's nice to have a mint looking 40 year old truck parked on the street, works like a traffic calmer. Current life gets in the way project is a trailer hitch for the guy across the alley so that he can go panning for gold. He's broke due to beer, er, bills but his wife and her daughter want him gone for a while so that'l get done on monday or tues when the weather dries out, then her Pathfinder gets a power steering pump.

When he's gone I drag the trailer that was a 79 F350 until some drunk turned right 160' before the stop sign and hit it while it was parked in front of my place over to Sues so that her and Kelly can prep their house for when Mark gets back and she has a use for him, remodeling time. That was last Aprils surprise life gets in the way project LOFL, got $1500 for it and it never did actually cost me anything before hand. I have 3 and a half trucks in this shelter shop thing, good thing I know how to warehouse. Theres more, but this is using to much brain power and right now I'm killing time as it's drizzeling outside right now, about time as we need the moisture.

So, what are your bad habits Gerry. Told you it was a convoluted answer. ha ha ha ha ha

Had to do a double check Gerry, it's bills not pills, lol. Marks actually a good guy, when he gets back he'll do okay, but then he'll buy a beer and a month later I'll hear Sue yell "would you get off your lazy azz" and a month later he'll be off n panning. The wood work he's done in their house is really nice.

I was used to long hours so when life came to a dead stop, it drove me up the wall and half nuts. This working is what brought me back to my senses and is getting me healthy all the way around, just look at how well John is doing. debating if I want to end that senteance with a lol, LOL there.

This bad economy gets expensive, if you can't find a job, make yourself a job. That's how the economy gets stimulated
