When most people see this thing they think it's a toy because they think it should be on a tripod, they forget that it's used for concrete pads and surface grades, used to have to put a milk crate over it with as heavy a weight as I could find to keep others from stepping on it. It's cool and humid today so I'm just going to abuse the wash machine at the laundromat, mine doesn't like sand, grinder grit or metal dust going through it, eats the pumps on these new machines. Crime stats came out today, about the lowest breakin, vandalism, assault rates in town in this immediate area. ha ha ha it's damn near zero for all 3 combined.
My girls were pretty excited to see the snow flying this afternoon. I think that's a sign this has been too dry of a winter, lol. They went outside to try to scoop it up before it melted.
I went to do laundry at 3pm and it was cold and sleeting, came back at 4 and it was sunny and warm, half hour later snowy and cold. That cycle went through this area about 4 times, cats hated it. Today is supposed to end the same way, but we need it.
The day started nice but turned to crap, one more day of this, still have a bit of frost in the shop floor and a bit of ice in one of my cable conduits, so close to having this gantry fully functional.
