Lol, and I thought that I was the only one that feel the same way you do, my wife tell me all the time why do I go out to the storage all the time, funny.
It's a bit humbling to follow up on jjbbrewer's post, but here's the new rig. Picked up the 2012 F250 with 120k two weeks ago - XL 4x2 with electronic locking diff - should be good for summer towing. Got the fifth wheel hitch kit installed last weekend (Reese Titan 16k) and picked up our new 2001 Glendale 27EXB - a bit rough in spots but willing to put in a bit of work to clean it up for summer duty. Kids are 12 (twins) - so this is a bit of an experiment for us. Tows like a dream - really impressed with how solid and quiet everything is - have only towed travel trailers previously and really like it so far. Now kitting it out with aluminum wheels for summer tires, levelling system, entertainment system, backup cameras and new head unit in the truck, etc. Found these forums to be a good source of information while I was shopping for the truck. 2012 F250 XL 4x2, 2001 Glendale Titanium 27EXB
Have you had your 5th wheel and truck on the cat scales. Need to make sure you are not over on the axles.
Excuse provided....no really it is a good idea if you haven't.
I know what you mean there. bought my truck and then the camper. Camper is within the max Payload and Tow Ratings for my F-250. Was my first camper and after doing more research realized that after loading the truck and camper with "stuff" i was over my rated Payload capacity and barely within my rated Tow weight. That problem will be resolved before this camping season hits. Got a new F-450 Lariat on order and should have it by the end of Feb first part of March.
If i ever choose to upgrade my Rig i "know" I'll have the capacity to tow whatever i choose to upgrade to (want to get a toy hauler for the Harley)

WE had a 2006 Titanium, a 28/33TS. Loved it. These were great Canadian built 5ers. Too bad the company over extended itself in 2010 and disappeared or our current woulld be one. The nose cap on yours is a bit different. Oh and if ithat nose and tail cap are heavily oxidised like most, a good gleaning and Poli Glow does wonders (and also wears your arm out) https://www.poliglowproducts.com/#/

Thats a unique rv, I've never seen. I researched and found it was a Canadian rv, before reading Irelands Child post. Nothing wrong with what you have gman. It is far smarter to start out like you are doing and learn what you really like and want, then spend the bigger money.
What a great unit. No need to spend $200plus K on a new setup, especially with kids! hahahaha enjoy camping in it you will have a blast with the family for sure.
