Getting ready for a southern journey from our home in Montana.
I had to take my 5th in due to the black water tank leaching water out!!
I was expecting a $1500+ bill for a new tank but it turned out the screws rusted out on the connection between the tank and the outlet. $236 fix! Only 8" circumference of insulation was damage. When I drove it home 1/2, she pulled like a dream with the new airbags I installed on the truck.

Hope my grey tank leak is as easy to fix, its been dripping since we left home in September. Not bad but it's there but the warmer it gets the less it drips and being we came across WY, Montana, Idaho and now in SW Oregon it hasn't been to warm. Will take a look at it when we get to Yuma in November.
Big Mak, beautiful place you have there! I had to look it up (the town, not your house). The wife and I are looking to retire early, but I think she'll say that your location is too far north. Her sister lives in Dayton, WY. Both Daytons are are the northern end of their respective states.

We had our retirement states narrowed down to Montana (where we got married 30 years ago) Wyoming, Idaho and Grand Junction, CO. We love 4 seasons, both of us snow shoe and cross country ski (used to downhill ski) and if we want to, we can hook up the 5th wheel and head south in the winter!
We couldn't stay in WA state any longer. The political climate along with high taxes was atrocious! It isn't the same WA state I moved to 40 years ago!

Politics and taxes are driving us out of CO. We both graduated from college in WY and have family there, so WY is at the top of the list.

At the dealership yesterday picking up our new 41' Sandpiper with large rear bunkhouse for my 2 girls. A lot more room than our previous travel trailer which was 36', tows so much better even though its about 3500 lbs heavier. Truck does an awesome job too. Can't wait for our first camping trip!
