I see you’re pulling a 28BH, what rear axle does your truck have? We have a 290BH which is a little lighter than yours & I’m thinking I need the 4.30’s but probably don’t.
Truck has 3.73. Pulls it fine in my opinion but the 4.30 would be better from a start. I will decide on a re-gear after a 1000 mile round trip we have planned in Sept.
I wasn't initially a fan of the new exterior but it has already grown on me. It certainly looks awesome with your Magnetic truck. Just about a perfect combination. Congratulations!
Thanks! I liked both color options (2019 and 2020) but my kids liked the new bunk room in the back of the 2020. It’s a big step up from our MicroLite travel trailer.
Looks great. I went with the BW hitch and have been really happy with it. My upgrades are a work in progress, what have you added to yours?
To be honest I don't recall all my add-ons. Maybe the piece of mind an onboard Progressive Industries EMS system adds, a better/ more stable entrance stair case, protective shades over each slide, and a safe to store firearms. There are others - but not necessary for all.
Perhaps one day disc brakes and maybe a better battery bank (with a solar panel system),
Not a 5th wheel, but we needed a TC to run around our state of MT with the fishing boat. I'm not going to tandem tow.
2007 Palomino M1000SL with dining slide out. Bought it from an old couple locally who used it two weeks out of the year the past 12 years. Always garaged.
We took it out for a shake down cruise and went fishing to Noxon Reservoir in NW montana, 2 hrs from our home.
I also cleaned up the roof, resealed (not much needed) and then coated it with Henry's Tropicoool and added two Maxx Air vents.
I was so impressed with Henry's product after applying it on our 5th wheel a year ago, it has held up great!
