Just picked up our new Grand Design 324MBS yesterday. The ole 7.3 pulls it great!
Going to raise the Curt hitch to the next set of holes for the next time I pull it so it will be leveled out. Looking at it, the front of the trailer is slightly lower while hitched to my truck. I guess it's setup for these newer sky high pickup trucks.
Looks awesome my good sir. We purchased a 324MBS a few months back, you know just in time to put it in storage.
Congrats and looking good! It is nice to see these old 7.3L PSD workhorses still getting it done. Safe travels and thanks for posting a couple of pictures of the trailer and truck.
Thanks. I love the sound of the motor with a load in tow.

No glamorous camping pics be it is getting a new home when not in use.
30 X 40 X 16 tall.
it will be able to have the rv, the pontoon boat, the excursion and one of my trucks.
3 sides will be closed in.
Have had this particular NuWa for about five years now. Fourth fifth wheel and fourth NuWa. But, first Champagne. VIN plate shows GVWR of about (I forget exactly) #18,000, and we are right there (or maybe just a hair over) when fully loaded for a month or longer trip. Shown is the before (factory) scheme and the second is the new paint job. Took it to a place near South Bend, IN to have it done. Four colors, plus three clear coat. Scheme and colors are based on an older color scheme from DRV Mobile Suites. We have also completely updated the interior with new hardware, carpet, flooring, fixtures, etc. We did NOT paint anything on the interior, but I have gone through and added automatic on / off cabinet lighting for several of the cabinets, including the pantry. Tires are replace at five year intervals and are Goodyear G114 17.5". Axles are Dexter independent suspension torsion, rated at 8,000 each pair. We usually "camp" inside of National Parks (boondocking) and carry four Honda EU2200 generators that are paralleled in pairs and connected to each leg of the input 50 amp service. Easier than lifting a Honda EU7000 into the bed of the truck. We love the lifestyle and upgraded the trailer for a couple of reasons. One is that new luxury fifth wheels are north of $150K and we plan to keep this one for another ten years. Thank for looking.
Correction: Typo in the Subject line. This is a 2013 coach, not a 2023!
That looks amazing! I don't see where anyone else asked, so I will......what did it cost to paint it?
Finally got a chance to swap out the OEM pin box for the Goose Box. Working solo the install took a little under two hours, not bad all things considered. The Goose box is a lot heavier than the original unit.
With that I was FINALLY able to hitch up the truck and trailer.
Obviously the headache rack needs to go, with the tool box shoved so far back I hardly had any room for the goose box to swing. Too bad I really like the rack but I bought it when we thought we were getting a Eagle 312BHOK, not a 324MBS.
And I know the chains aren't in, I just hitched up to measure the clearances. I didn't go anywhere.

I like that a lot. How much that set you back, if you don't mind sharing?

The Goose box? I got the lighter 16k one (trailers GVWR is 13,995 so plenty of head room, pin weight shouldn't make it over 2800 so 400 pounds of room on the goose box), not the larger 20k. I think it was $1500-1650 something like that. Not cheap but easier to deal with than a 220-260 pound fifth wheel hitch. Gen-Y makes a nice looking gooseneck pin box as well but went the reese route on this one.

I’ve been using the same set up for about 9 month, the offset ball and goosebox) with my Alliance 32rls and F350 CCSB. I love it. I adjusted the goosebox height twice after install and ended up at the highest setting to get the trailer level.
pro-tip, install hooks on both ends of your chains. You can hook them to your truck prior to backing under the goosebox. Then install heavy shackles onto the goosebox. I do not have to climb into the bed to mess with the chains.

Stretch the bed and you will be able to have both, lol.
Nice job.

Looking good. We've been enjoying our 324MBS. Added the rear hitch stabilizer and the front landing gear stabilizer. It helps alot with the rocking.
