I don't think you'll see much if any difference at all in squat. On my 2000 & 2003 Super Duties I needed to add air bags, I went with Firestone on both. Clearance from the front cap hitting the back of the truck is always a concern, you'll have anywhere from 65 - 90 degrees. You'll need to go to a big parking lot and check with someone.
I'm happy with my AUH; in fairness there are many who swear by other brands.
You'll have to assess each brands positives against the negatives.
The standard 5th hitch is the most common (and likely the most versatile), but heavy - and dirty - to move about.
The AUH hitch is quick 'n easy to move but requires a less common truck mounted gooseball - and an adaptor to the king pin.
The goose hitch requires a special 5th mounted box and a truck mounted gooseball. I suspect its more difficult to physically see (when hitching) than the other types.
I run a Andersen Ultimate Aluminum, but have never had a conventional hitch so I cannot compare there. I’m planning to switch to a Goosebox 2 this spring. The Andersen is great and goes perfectly, but I would like to get some bed space back, and have just the ball in when I unhook at a campsite. The Andersen is easy to install and remove, but I have to put it somewhere. At home that’s no issue, but as we spend more and more time on the road it’s becoming an issue there.
