I used a Wilwood proportioning valve mounted it on top of the existing brake line bracket.
The front line out of the master cylinder (for the rear brakes) needs to be located 3" further back to avoid hitting the windshield washer fluid tank.
Thanks Gavin, I am saving this last post of yours.... good info for when I find a 76 or newer front end... until then, I will just give 'em room.. mostly for me to stop without hurting my front bumper... too bad for the dive bombing lane changer.. My front bumper has that :"Kiss of Death" look in a rear view mirror... I would hate to be in front of me, and see it coming...

Thanks Gerry, I appreciate the kind words. Last night was rough. We couldn't get my male lab out of his bed. He wouldn't move, eat or drink so we took him to the U of I emergency clinic. The people at the clinic are wonderful. They took an x-ray and found a massive tumor, so around 1 am this morning we had him put to sleep. I'm still in shock because it happened so fast. I took him out at 4:30 yesterday and he was overly excited as usual to go outside. The wife and son are doing okay. We'll get through this.
I'm going out to the shop to see if I can't get something constructive done today.
Have a Merry Christmas guys!
I am so sorry to hear about you Lab amigo. That is a sad event, especially with the bonds most Labs and their owners have. Those dogs are so devoted to pleasing the family, and protecting them, that for some, it takes quite awhile to bond with another. I know what you are feeling, as lost my yellow lab "Honey", after 14 years and 5 days. Some day, I will rescue another, and hopefully you do to.
My most sincere condolences to you and your family.
Gavin, much sorrow about your Lab. We had to put my boxer girl dog down a couple of months ago. We knew it was coming as she was getting progressively worse, but still it was hard. It sux to use some plain talking; I feel for ya.

We just got back from church, out to eat, looking at lights.
Thanks guys, I really appreciate all the kind posts. I could not have asked for a more loveable ham and goofball than Rock. We were fortunate to have him and his sister for 12 long years.
