Everything and gardening too...this thread is always an interesting read. Y'all have been much busier than I, but I'm trying to keep up.

This heavy rain allowed me to see drainage issues with my mater patch . A low spot has shown itself .
I don't think I will do a full garden this year , 5 acre , I plan to keep it small .
The wife can help , but Grandchildren occupy her plans ....
She now baby sits one while his parents are at work .

I think I'm winning a war against a (dirt)head on another forum too -
Dude is an ex-test pilot who thinks he's the smartest man in the universe, but a four cylinder suzuki doesn't call for rocket science or checklists to figure out.
~Seems he objects to my "Out-of-Pocket" analysis's of what is wrong with my car...
Despite the fact I have been dead-on all along!
I'm waiting 24 hours for the loctite on the new bolts on this to dry:
If it runs, the guy is going to look extraordinarily DUMB

I kind of thought so from the beginning, "MYREDVERT" at the geometroforums is a hidebound SOB that has become a problem, when a 1.0 to 1.3 liter engine is no mystery at all

We got some bad blowing winds, a little bit of heavy rainfall. My industrial dolly got blown off the side porch into the backyard in fact (I use it to move large potted plants and engines around, also logs).
Good news is that I think I'm on track with the little car, although it had me tearing my hair out earlier. Bit by bit it's coming together.
I have to do some wiring tomorrow if the sky stays clear.

This rain sure has been great for the garden. Everything is beginning to sprout.
It sucks for the lawn though----no breaks in the rain and the yard is becoming a jungle.

Cyotes killed my wife's cat last nite ! I have lived in the same house since 98 . Lived in this area since 79 . Lost calves , goats , other animals to them . Never had them come so close to the house !
Use to set " bait " for them in the 80's . A calf in a double pen of hog panel . Wait and shoot them .
I have no livestock now . You guys got any ideas ? I plan on thinning them out . I have shot 15 in a day years ago .
