Another great day....Hope to enjoy some of it as well. Unfortunately, work issues are keeping me chained.
Glad you were able to make the rescue...had a very similar thing happen to me, battery and all, a few years back. As luck would have it, the truck died directly across the street from an Auto Zone. They diagnosed, replaced and got me going in less than a half-hour. I am loyal since then.
Been away from here for a while, still tryin to clean up from the ice storm. I had an area that we cleared for a trailer before the storm, finally got a backhoe in here to pull the stumps about 2 weeks ago. With all this dang rain, I was finally able to pull my little Iseki tractor with the box blade through there to do some grading on Friday.
I took advantage of the wet to burn off a lot of brush and branches, now I need the grass and such to dry so I can play with my electric lawn mower some more.
* I've had it with gummed carbs, and pull starts. My tractors are going to be donors for a "Better Lawn Tractor" idea or two that I have.
Another nice day! Supposed to rain tomorrow around here, though. On the bright side, the rain keeps my barrels full and takes away the need for watering the estate.
Same here. Since the weather broke, we've been busy! Basement is being dug for a house over 2,000 square feet, foundation is being laid for a cabin and the concrete floor is poured for a storm shelter with a sun room on top.
Beautiful day today . Among other things , I am working on a 6.0 . EGR cooler . I am also puting a clutch in an AMC Gremlin ! 20 min. tranny pull .
I had rather work on the AMC !
