Geeze it was -25 out on my deck yesterday here in south eastern Minnesota.. Windchill was -36.. It Was 50 degrees warmer this morning though... Kinda hard to get your mind wrapped around that some times...
Hope you aren't one of the people who get headaches when the weather changes. We get some wild swings here, and I know a few people who are darned near crippled those days from the pain.

Unfortunately I am... Most the time they are manageable with sinus decongestants and Tylenol..
Surprised you sold your trailer so fast seventyseven, I vulture the kijiji ads and a lot of the trailer ads have been around for a year, just keep getting updated. Nice black truck soko, any new tickets or that d word yet, my new trucks all seem to be 35 years old and my parts trucks are 15 years old or newer?. Got katy's box done and talked myself into a quickie LOL restoration on the cab. Have an involuntary 79 f350 donor truck so it gets all the rusty parts and loses its good panels, it is going to be so ugly when it's done that I my neighbours will have a party when I pull it and park it in front of Luigi's house. Eye for eye thing. This weather reeks havoc with my lungs and sinuses but I have meds, Spiriva, Symbicort, Salbutamol and a nasal inhaler thats similar to Drixol, have pain pills too. Side effects makes it look like I have Parkinsons, its in the family genes and the steroids trigure it for about an hour twice a day. Still cant go outside for long as none of it seems to help when its bouncing between -2 and +2 and snowing and raining. Humidity, pollution and the winters are why I left Vancouver and moved here.
I was pretty pleased with how fast the trailer sold, but I think maybe a lot of those kijiji folks aren't actually interested in selling. I put it up for a fair price, and I had about a dozen phone calls, first guy who saw it bought it, for pretty much my asking price. I had several phone offers too, but they were all a little low for my liking. All in all, it was on kijiji for less than one week.
Brought the new trailer home today. Didn't have the WD bars hooked up yet, and boy oh boy, do I need them! it was spooky. I took it easy and got home safe, and I'll be setting up the WD stuff before it moves again.
When I sold my camper I sold it for the same that I paid for it 2 years prior and the person who bought it drove from Prince George sight unseen to take it. Sometimes you just get the right buyer. I think I had it on kijiji for a week or 2 as well.
You guys have had a lot better luck with kijiji than me. Everything I've sold went to people outside of Calgary, was offered $500 for my mint 78f350 dump truck, was asking $6500. Junkie neighbour sold his76,75 f250 dented rust bucket with blown motor for $3200. Buddy sold a bunch of aquarium stuff in a week. Theres a $800 76 Camper special on there right now that went from 1800 to $3500, claims it has 23k, miles. Thinks its a rare rust bucket. All I know is that kijiji can be wierd and you may need to chase the guy who was interested in your grill, out of your yard at 1 a.m. I've got an in frame trailer hitch that works great but on some trucks you need to relocate your tank, doing that with my current truck.
There's a bit of an art to writing those ads on kijiji as well. No matter what you are selling, it's got to have at least three pictures. I write pretty long ads too, even for simple things. Use bullet points. I often re-state key features too. Then, you need to re-post your ad at least every week, and more often in a busy section. Unless you feel like paying for it to be a "top ad", but I'm too cheap for that.
Well folks I have one more week of work out here before I can go stare at my truck before I drive up to Edmonton for yet another cheer competition. Then driving all the way back out here to work for another 11 days. And the weather has never bothered me
Spent 17 yrs buying and selling commercial furniture, curbed residential furniture, 78-81 Monte carlos, grand prixs, regals, cutlasses, window less contractor vans and travel trailers during mid 80's for 5 yrs. Used to getting a strong response from ads and still do. Out of towners have always been serious buyers and never had problems with in town buyers until recently. The coffee group at A & W say its the handicap placard on rearview, oxygen placard in front window or the oxygen bottle I use outside. Health problems bring out the best in some people but apparently cause some people turn into complete aholes, some of the group have horror stories relating to thier kids and grandkids. All started when they had heart attacks, strokes, developed cancer etc. Haven't advertised for close to a year but will start again when I have alarm and light system and some sort of camera system, will be making sure there is signage. Had a lot less hassle selling $980k of furniture a year in Vancouver than $30 in parts in Calgary. Would go back in a flash if it wasn't for my lungs.
PS. Congratulation soko, you've turned 100. CHEERS
