I hate the packages Ford makes us buy when we order a new truck, I should be able to pick the options I want...
Well, I guess I get to post in this thread now, thanks to that comment. I agree with you. For instance, I wanted the Tuxedo Black exterior and Pecan interior, but Ford would only allow the black interior with the Tuxedo. In the end, it didn't matter since I bought Kodiak with Pecan off of the lot. Still seems stupid that I can't get what interior color I want with the exterior color I want, unless they agree.
I'm kind of getting that same vibe about Sirius. They've been hounding me for a while and I just ignore their calls and toss their flyers in the trash. I gave them a chance several years ago with the free trial when my (then) wife bought a new Edge. After a couple of weeks, I still wasn't sold on it and stopped using it. If I had more time to travel, I would like the Sirius travel stuff (weather and traffic), but I still wouldn't bother with radio. I have all of my music on a thumb drive and don't have to listen to any DJ's flapping their gums, or stupid commercials. Also, the music on my drive is there because I like it and want it there. I don't have to deal with someone else's opinion of what good music is.
My trick for the tv is to record all of the shows I want to watch on my DVR - even if they are on when I sit down to watch. I fast forward through all of the commercials when possible.

OMG this.
With the exception of sports...I don't watch live TV.

Ya know - this is what we like to do also..
Not that awful long ago, the VCR industry was fine tuning VCRs that had Commercial Sensing logic and remotes that would allow the tapes to FF through the commercial only. We had (until it crapped out) the next best thing in a JVC VCR that had a FF button that would jump in 10 seconds, then another that would jump 30 seconds for each press of the button.
I wish they would put that capability into the DVR boxes..
I am about to disconnect from Cable TV anyway so they will take the DVR away and I will need to find something else...

our DirecTv Genie DVR supports both continuous fast forward and timed skip.. two different buttons.
I think I will be going with a rather tall pole with an antenna on it.. My next door neighbor has this and has better quality broadcast TV than I get on the wire and pay for..
I don't understand how a dealership that has a customer that waited 4 months, will not have that truck ready TODAY. That is complete BS. You should get a hold of Crystal again. Maybe she can provide some pressure for the dealership to perform.

Well it is Savage Ford!

Agreed, but they won't let that happen. I always seem to have to correct all the PDI stuff that the dealer misses anyway.
