things

1) I would say the at times temperamental Sync system.

2) The at times clunking Tranny. (Early tranny problems)

3) The auto hubs not engaging in the cold weather.

4) The costs of things like oil changes, ($140 or so) the auto hubs replacement when they seize (remember to turn them often) $800

5) FX4 shocks, which I replaced

6) Rear end sags too much for a heavy duty truck in my opinion.

7) Cost to replace the spring for the storage unit lid front seats ($190) It has broken twice in 3 and 1/2 years.

8) And a last thought....the truck is more handsome than me. lol

Making the payment.

I ust made the first one. If you told me 20 years ago I'd have a $875 a month truck payment I would have laughed at you and said you are friggin nuts. Of course 20 years ago I didn't think I'd make as much money as I do know. But it's still crazy to see as many $60,000 trucks driving around as I do and think that everyone of them has a payment like mine, unless they coughed up a lot of money for a down payment, or paid for them in full up front.

Oh yeah, the back up alarm, my '09 had a button to turn that off temporarily if you needed to, does my '14 not have that button? I park a couple inches from the garage door and it drives me nuts when trying to get that close.

If you're referring to the one inside the truck that beeps as you get closer to an object, mine pops up whenever I put the trans in reverse and says "rear park aid - on/off" and I can turn it off from there. If you're referring to the one under the rear of the truck to let everyone else know you're backing up, I can't help you there.

Yes, the one that warns you that you are about to hit something behind you. Something pops up on the information screen on the dash?

I finally have a couple things I really don't like

- No level gauge on the DEF tank besides a message saying OK or 600 miles to doom

- Loss of at least a half mpg when the exhaust filter goes into clean mode

on my 2012 it only pops up if there is problem detected (my car hauler hitch sometimes registers as an obstruction)

rest of the time.. never.

Gerry,

You really shouldn't let you wife stand in front of the truck when you are parking.

(But, yeah, I would like that feature too)

It should come up on your information display when you put it in reverse, you can then disable it with the steering wheel control.

I second both of those, at least you don't have to pop the hood to refill the DEF as you do in the GM twins.
