At 16 i just bought my first truck. A 1996 crew cab F-150 Centurion Edition. Its pretty plain right now but i plan adding some mods exterior and internally to it coming up soon. I will keep it posted with updates.

Nice truck! I'm 16 myself. Look forward to a build thread on it

lbrooks75; In my personal opinion, I wouldn't not modify your truck at all. When I was in the market for a 90's f350, I passed up a lot of them because the previous owner ruined them by trying to make them better. 200lbs bumpers, cheesy lights, questionable lift kits, spaghetti wiring harnesses..... (huge turn off to buyers and truck enthusiasts). 96-97 shortbed crewcabs are pretty rare and I'm more impressed with a clean, stock 9th gen than one thats been modified by the owner. Your investment will be more comfortable, laster longer, and retain its value better if you keep it stock (IMHO of course).
I agree with what others have said, that has got to be the nicest looking F150 Centurion I've seen granted I've only seen a few Believe me don't do a ton of mods, or at least do them complete and not half assed. I have to go through my new truck and rip out all the booty fab that the last two POs did
Speaking of which here she is my new to me truck. She ain't much of a looker but she will be Proud to join the CC club now
She's got a solid frame and body, plus a good drive train. Most of what I will have to fix is the mess of wiring that they made- tore out the door speakers and added a couple amps that are just laying on the floor lol . Plus the interior is basically trashed, it will need new carpet, seats, door panels, dash trim, steering wheel and a few other things. Plus someone put an open air element filter on the turbo conversion they did on it, so I will get an actual CAI for it.
Boy do I know that one lol. This one luckily was priced really well due to the fact that the seller was medically injured on the job and had to sell his truck to pay the bills. Given the next level of affordable truck ($5000 was the next cheapest) I think that for 2200 less I scored real good.
