Thanks guys. It definitely can't hurt at this point.
As far as grounding goes. I took my ohm meter around the truck, and everything is easily making contact.
Get a paycheck under your belt and buy that Eddy stuff there buddy. Make sure you get the intake AND gaskets for your 2V heads. BTW, they are 351C 2V heads, correct? I remember where you work but not what you do there. If someone else looking up the gaskets for you look over their shoulder and make sure you getting the correct ones. Ford lists in 1973 the 2V and 4v were different. In 1974, 351c 2v without smog pump were the same as 1973. 351C 2v with smog pump took the same gaskets as the 351C 4V!!!!???!!!! WHAT?!
I will tonight also at 10:00. Both you and I at the same time together, as it says in the Bible, when 2 or more believers pray together......................
Thanks guys. It definitely can't hurt at this point.

so how much resistance do you measure between the ground point (where the engine is grounded to your cab) and your frame? Get the reading with the ground wire from your engine removed from the body. cab to the frame is the only one I am worried about.
Matthew 18:20 19"Again I say to you, that if two of you agree on earth about anything that they may ask, it shall be done for them by My Father who is in heaven. 20"For where two or three have gathered together in My name, I am there in their midst."

I didn't remove the ground strap, but I went all over the engine/ cab/ frame and the most resistance I saw anywhere was only 1.2 ohms.
I tried to read though all of the posts, but did anyone check the lobes on the cam?
What? It's only 11 pages!!
Yeah a few pages back it was clear that the cam lobes had been checked and that all 16 valves were verified as opening and closing correctly. The current plan of action is an intake manifold and carb replacement.
I am starting to feel sorry for this guy. Everything I have read so far his problem should have been fixed by now. I would hate to think someone is deliberately trying to sabotage his ride. Just does not add up. I have had my friends screw with me when I was growing up. A little bit of black tape inside of a plug wire boot and watch the fun. You get the Idea. Take a #2 pencil and start drawing inside dist. cap, that's a screamer
