I have no intention of giving up. My mom and aunt (her sister) died of cancer, my mom had three different cancers, and still lived to be 70 years old. So there is hope for me yet. Although I am not going to rely on hope, prayer works wonders.

Crap, Jim ! ! ! I have too many people around me have a cancer diagnosis lately. That just sucks. A family member of mine has been given 6 months. I think yours is a type of cancer that you can live with, with regular treatments, isn't it? I hope so...

Thanks for the well wishes guys. It does help. Yes, I was told that my type of CLL can be treated, so that is some good news. I can tell you though that I am NOT looking forward to this 1pm bone marrow test, nor its results.
