Our vacation is broken up into two places. Firstly we are going to Disneyland. I'm less than thrilled with that part. If I could figure out a way to get out of it and stay married I would. The second part we are going to Wickiup for some camping, fishing and sight seeing. I'm slightly more interested in the second half.
The unfortunate part about the Wickiup trip is that my in-laws are going. My FIL just bought a new boat and can't drive it to save his soul. He managed to wrap the bow line in the prop over the weekend on it's maiden voyage in Tillamook Bay. Apparently my MIL kept saying that there was something in the water around the motor. He told her to sit down and shut up. It wasnt until he tried to rais the motor and the bow line was taught and couldn't raise the motor that the light came on. Along with a bunch of other stupid stuff. I vowed I would never ride in a boat with him.
Now that is funny as hell!
You have to take video on the trip and post it here. It should be priceless...........
Sorry to disappoint... there won't be any videos. I plan to be far enough away that I won't have to be a witness to any stupidity or assist with any repairs.
Morning Tiny! Damn, should have sold my boat to your FIL!! I had to replace the tilt/trim pump motor in mine on Sunday. That has finally broke me, I'm done, time to sell!
Morning Don! Yeah, took vacation for the 4th, 5th, and Monday. Would have been back yesterday, but my wife's grandma passed away last Thursday, and the funeral was yesterday, so took that off also. She had a long life, at 98 years!
Morning guys. I must have been tired. I slept till 0730 this morning..........
Howdy Don.........
Good for Ya..
I retired from my job of 12 years with Easter Seals - Goodwill on the 25th of June. Retired from the Navy in '92.........now for the civilian work world......
I have slept-in a couple of times since then...............nice.
The job list around home is soooo large........I'll never get done....
Don, what they are implying is probably illegal. At least in Oregon it is. I'm not lisenced anywhere else but Oregon so I'm not sure about Oklahoma's survey law.
In Oregon the Oregon State Board of Examiners for Engineers and Land Surveyor's (OSBEELS) would pursue legal actions against anyone practicing land surveying without a lisence. Even for a fence. I would advise against trying to "survey" with any instrument.
