I get asked these types of questions at work all the time. Hiring a Land Surveyor is expensive. It's human nature to for people to try to save money by doing stuff themselves. Ultimately, the homeowner is going to do what they want... I can only offer my expert opinion. It's a bit like working on your own vehicle. Sometimes it just makes sense to have a professional do the work.

Good evening Oregon. Made it home from Detroit. Everything went fine with the (new to us) camper. Didn't want to come home, but I've got an appointment at the VA in P town tomorrow.

They're boxed up, NOS in one box, rest in 3 boxes. I have them in an indoor shed for now. Once things settle down, I'll figure out what I have, and take some pictures
