Morning Jim. Pretty quiet in here today. I'm just heading over to the shop and try and get something done. Been at the farm for the last week and haven't got anything done here. Hope to go to Yakima on Saturday and buy a lathe.
Morning guys. Long, hot, hard day yesterday, but got a ton done. Harley and I are going to Wash tomorrow to buy a bigger lathe. It's got a 17" swing, and an 84" bed length. Should be just what I've been looking for, and I may get to trade and a bunch of cash back too! A win, win for me!
Gonna be a short morning on here for me, got to leave at 0630 this morning. I have to remove the final drive from the 9750 John Deere combine so I can get the parts ordered for pick-up on Monday.
I've got to round up some tools to take to the farm this morning. Then another day fixing stuff and building cute little fences around sensitive plants they don't want the deer to eat.
I started to offer some advice... A 30-06 would be much less expensive, tasty and just as effective.
I held my thoughts to myself... These folks are really nice people but would fit in with Dave's Eugene neighbors just fine.
