You are right. I have always had a problem with hitting women. Probably why I ended up with a women's stiletto high heel buried 3 layers deep in a Kevlar vest I was thankfully wearing!
Many years ago when my daughter was 3 or 4, we were at a county park and my daughter got bit in the face by "dog on the loose". We did have a puncture but it did not require stiches or anything other than some antibiotics and some salve.
I was dressed down with nothing but cut offs on so I had left the pistol in the car. The owner was cited, but the dog didn't get put down. First time offense and the owner fought for the dog and the court refused to order the dog be put down. The fellow spent a tremendous amount of money on attorney fees so I guess there was that satisfaction.
Both Harley and Jayla were bitten when they were just little, and both dogs were "put down" on the spot by me. I won't put up with a dog that bites......
Just out of curiosity, have any of you guys seen a transmission cooler quite like this one?
Not that it really matters, it seems to be doing the job. Just seems to be a fairly heavy duty type set up.
Getting a little old Dave? I have a spare set of eye glasses if you need to borrow some.................
You try hitting a running coyote at about 60yds with a 9mm Beretta and get back to me!
(If I had still had my Marlin Camp-9 carbine, he would'a been dead meat!)
Next time he comes around, I will have a AK ready for him, trying to hit moving targets at long distance with a pistol is nuts!
My thought initially, but it is the tranny cooler. The a/c condenser is right behind it and the radiator is behind that. I've seen several that are close listed on several different auto parts sites, but none that match the same number of rows.
Like I said, probably doesn't matter as long as the temps stay down. Will have a better test with the entire set up, camper - boat - pickup fully loaded and a couple of very steep grades tomorrow afternoon heading up to Detroit Lake.
Maybe I was better off without a temp gauge driving around in blissful ignorance. After my sister and BIL fried, to the tune of $3200, their tranny, I got a little gun shy.

That looks like a after-market Hayden trans cooler, somebody didn't like the stock, stacked plate one Ford uses which is a shame, they work GREAT!
I use 2 stock coolers in-line, and my trans temps have NEVER gone over 185 on my E4OD with the 460 pulling the camper, boat and all the gear over Willamette pass at 60-65mph.

Well, now that you mention it, I did try that last winter out on the farm - with the 9MM. Missed (ummmmmmmmm twice) but in my defense I had rain on my glasses and a shot gun in one hand and the critter was at 100+ yards running low and fast as if his tail was on fire.
Harley and I had a long talk yesterday, and we deceided to replace the broken up 73 cab on the tow truck. We're going to use the "perfict" cab and front end from the blue "67". I don't have a need for the blue 67 truck, and replacing the 73 cab/front clip would make the tow truck look soooo much better...
There goes my nice 67 truck.
Guess I'll have to buy the white one at the farm around the corner. I bought the 56 panel from him last year, maybe he'll give me a multi car discount

I was real close, I saw a branch just maybe 6 inches ahead and above him get shredded, guess I used TOO much lead on him.
(Another excuse for missing:..........I was on my 2nd beer.)

Well, I hadn't had any beer and he was in a sprouted grass field so no limbs to shred. All I can say, is that his belly got closer to the ground and he added 10 MPH to what I thought was already a max speed so I must have been close enough for him to hear the snap.
