The NASCAR community was left stunned Wednesday night by the news that driver Jason Leffler had been killed in an accident during a sprint-car race in New Jersey.
Leffler, 37, died in a crash at Bridgeport Speedway, a five-eighths mile high-banked dirt track in Swedesboro, N.J. He was pronounced dead shortly after 9 p.m. Eastern time, according to the Associated Press.
A belated good morning Oregon and everybody everywhere else.
Got the pickup into the shop this morning. Corey is going to look at the auto locking hubs and see if they are just gunked up or if they are shot. If they are shot, I have a set of Warn Heavy Duty Manuals picked out.
We are pretty much "wired" into a USED slide in camper. Brand new ones are ridiculously expensive. Looking at a couple of used Lance Campers.
We have boat and / or horse trailers to pull so slide in is really our only option. We have had slide in campers before. The last one was a King of the Road 11'. Heavy, but our 78 F250 (400) Ranger hauled it and pulled the boat or the horse trailer without any problems. You just had to be patient when going 40 MPH up some of the mountains. A corner jack collapsed on it and when I went to fix it I found too much dry rot under the skin, so it became the guest of honor at a marshmallow roast in the lower horse pasture. We have been tenting it for the last 15 years, but the wife is getting soft.
Jim, There are lots of great campers out there. If you have time to watch what's for sale and are patient you'll find a good deal and the perfect camper too. Lance, Arctic Fox and Northwood are good ones.
I like your weinie/marshmallo roast idea. One time my son and manually disassembled a camper to recycle the aluminum, copper and other metals that were contained within. I spent about 10 hours very carefully removing all putty, caulking, nails and staples so that I could get top price for the aluminum... it ended up being worth $40 dollars. Next time it's getting torched!
Yeah, same here, but some jobs were repetitious.
You set up the plan, and set a part time employee there. Voc tech wes good for that, gave the kids some on hand schooling, and some spending money
I've got a three horse about the size of the blue one. I'm looking for a 250 gallon propane tank to use with my new 5 horse 3 phase 4 cylinder compressor assy.
The new compressor will supply 25cfm at 250 psi. Should supply all the air we need!

I remember running an old turret lathe for my granddad when I was in high school. I thought it was fun!
Most of my work with the mill will be repair work, and not much "new" builds.
Altho I do have a set of plans to make a V-4 Indian engine....
