My CCSB build
1. It got rid of the rot in the bed wheel wells
2. It made towing the trailer more stable
3. it is different. I HATE having anything the same as anyone else
Ford Trucks for Ford Truck Enthusiasts
Ever since I put the truck together, it just seamed like it was lacking power.
Also the fuel milage went dow the toilet(4.5MPG) I also was not building the boost that I should of.
I was thinking boost leaks with the new I/C set up, but that all pressure tested out fine.
Then I was thinking it was the boost fooler I installed to trick the ECM to seeing a max of 22psi. Well that was working like it should, so that was out.
I took a shot in the dark and replaced my 10k old air filter. YUP, that did the trick!! Now burns off all 4 rear tires in 2 gears and not getting 16mpg again.
Another upgrade was the HPOP. I was constantly throwing a Code for low HPO when I ran here hard.
I upgraded to the T500 from Terminator Engineering .
EGTs dropped, less smoke and More power. Cant wait to see what she really does with a big load.
Next up was replace the factory CD player. I didnt not want to(i like the factory stuff) But this was the 3rd one I went thru since I owned the truck.
Went with a JVC Arsenal. Just your BASIC CD player with a GREEN display(nothing worse than a red or other color display with all free factory stuff), and Input so I can use my phone with Pandora.
Also mounted my Tuffy tool boxes in the bed. I had to loose the Headache rack with these tool boxes. SO I anyone is interested in the headache rack, PM me
Next up was adding Heated mirrors. The big gooseneck mirrors just Never seem to defrost themselves. I got some mirror heaters off ebay and wired them to a Bronco rear window defroster switch/timer. They come on for 10 min at a clip

Added a Airlift air compressor and controller for my airbags. Made a mount to mount the compressor and valve out of the weather, behind my rear seat.
It is the Wireless One system

Today i finally got to adding tie downs
Tractor supply had some 1,200lb D rings.
Used some 1/4" x1" x 5" flat stock drilled and tapped for 1/4" bolts as backing plates.
Mounted one in each rear stake pocket and one in each front corner of the floor

I had some custom mudflaps made as well
I ditched the Ford ones and went with my own
24" wide for the rear

12" wide for the front

i still want to paint the cap I have for it, but it is coming along
