Well, got the drivers rear door cut in with no issues. BUT the passengers front rocker came back with a Vengeance. I am not sure if it is POR15 not liking PPG product or if there is some sort of contamination. Gonna give it a try again tomorrow. This will be the FOURTH time I will be painting it
A little more progress today.
Got new hood wet sanded and fitted.
Drivers new rear door wet sanded and realized it needed more work(did that and primed again).
FINALLY got paint to stick to the passenger front rocker.
Windshield frame cleaned up, vari-primed and primer surfacer
And got 4 strikers back in so doors dont flop around
Getting closer. Still need to wet sand and get drivers rear door on.
Got it pulled outside so I can thoroughly clean the garage as to keep dirt to a Minimum in the paint. I hope to be painting come monday
And Finally got paint to stick to the passenger rocker
Got the drivers and passengers front floor POR15'd tonight(I scraped off all the original soundeadner? off the floor)
Picked up some peal-n-seal from Lowes tonight too.
Then Purple Powered & power washed the carpet. Figured i would give that a couple days of laying in the sun to dry
Used the Lowes Peel & Seal. It is in the roofing isle. Same thickness as Dynamat. Used almost 5 rolls to do floor and back wall. Still need to do roof and doors
I bought 12 rolls for $192. It looks like I am only going to need only 10. But I will let you know when I am done. Kinda wish I had the dashed pulled, to do the firewall
