Good morning Iowa, hope the weekend went well! Roger, hopefully something will come of the interviews. Going to be pretty nice here today, only 86 or so.
It sure was nice to be able to turn off the air and open the windows last night! Did some dirt work I have wanted to get done for a long time yesterday. Hard to do it when the crops are in, and since I was planning on building a shop there, made for room to work. Also a low corner for the building area, so will help with getting that leveled off. Now if I can have the income to make up for it... Got other scares going on though, as my wife's cancer has returned. Dealing with that as well now.
Roger, The main reason that we moved to Iowa in 2010 was to be closer to wife's parents. Her Dad was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. We didn't think he was going to make it last year. The chemo worked and he is now cancer free... or at least it is minimal enough that he only has to do annual appointments now. Our family will be praying for yours Roger. It is beatable and I am very thankful for the progress science has made over the years. Stay positive as that will help your wife tremendously. If you need to vent, don't be afraid to let us help. Scott
Well, now I have a phone interview with Deere in the morning... still a long drive, and will have night shift time in it. Not sure if it will stay nights, or if that is just for getting the line setup.

In the long run it will probably offer more money and better benefits, right?
Have awesome benefits through the wife's work as far as medical and such go. At this point just need to get a start and some experience, then I can do much more. Typical story, they want you to be experienced, but not willing to give you experience. Haven't been shot down on the last two just yet anyway, so maybe... It would be nice to have to choose between offers, instead of go with whatever offer is actually extended...
My wife is at stage 4 with the aggressive secondary Non-Hodgekins Lymphoma. She beat the attack on her lymph nodes, but it now has gone systemic. To add insult to injury, I am fighting with the IRS over a tax bill I shouldn't be owing over money I haven't received yet.

Wow... when it rains it pours in your household. Now that you are done with school you will have lots of time to handle the rest of these burdens.
Been wasting my day on the IRS crap. Lots of time on hold... Definitely don't have to worry about going to work or anything....
Might actually have gotten something that will help on the iRS though, so might have a breakthrough there. Can only hope...

Having positive thoughts for your wife. Hopefully you can kick some irs butt
The document I managed to get should help according to the last guy I talked to. Just a matter if they will accept it and the story about how things really are... The company I used to work for filed a 1099R that indicates they paid me a lump sum payment, when actually I filed for it to roll over into an IRA, but after they had filed that, and they do not do corrections... The money was never going to be lump sum either, as it is to be paid out once a year for 5 years until paid off.
Oh, they aren't that bad! I do ours by myself every year... The frame is easy, the surround is a little more trouble, but not bad. The one trick to the base is to get a bunch of springs all the way around, then fill in the gaps. I generally skip every 5th or such.
Morning Roger! Oh, okay, I'll try that. I've never put one of these together, so I'll take any tips I can get! I should have the boys helping me, so that'll help.
