This makes it to where we have had a little over an inch for the summer... Happened to be right under the line this time. Those storms the other night split right around us, got a whole .07" out of that one.
Good morning Iowa, Monday has arrived. Still at home today, knee is doing great, my back is doing much better. Hoping to get a few things done around here this week, I'm going nuts just sitting on my butt!
I know the feeling... Back when I had my back surgery, I was restricted from most everything... I didn't wait as long as I was supposed to by any stretch of the imagination as I was supposed to before working on vehicles again...
Morning Roger. I actually had a knee scope on Tuesday, then threw my back out here at home, getting out of the computer desk chair with my crutches! My damn back was worse off than my knee!
Well, we have decided to have a benefit drive for covering the expenses of my wife's cancer treatments. Donations of money or items to be auctioned are what we are looking for. Anyone in the area that would like to attend, it will be held at the Iowa County fairgrounds, Marengo, Iowa on August 26th, from 4-8 pm.

Roger, I hope you guys get a great turn out for that!
Good morning Iowa! Off to the doc today to see how the knee is doing, feels great to me. BTW, watch out, you're being invaded by an Indiana guy today!!
Hope it is as good as it feels Pat. If Joe had been there a bit earlier, would have met him there at Waterloo. I was just there picking up a fuel tank and filler neck for my beater I figure on using to run to work. No point racking up a lot of miles on a good car... If it gets decent mileage, has working cruise and working a/c, I'm good... Will have to do a bit more to get it to my standards, but I can tackle that stuff as I go, not imperative to do right now, but will want to get at it fairly soon.
Well, I have another interview with Vermeer tomorrow, just keeping my options open. I blew them off last January, thinking I had a job locked in, so I'm not making the same mistake. They will have to make a quick and impressive offer though.
Good morning Iowa! Had a great weekend down in KC at the water parks. If you guys ever take the family down there, don't go to the Schlitterbaum park, it's a dump for what you pay for. Oceans of Fun is waaaay better!
Interview went well at Vermeer, should find out this week what they want to do. Underwriters Laboratories was a lower paying job than I have with Deere. Today is my first day here with Deere. At this time, just the first day typical orientation and safety training type thing. Should get a computer shortly hopefully.
