first real snow that stuck to the ground. the excursion is parked untill my new pass side mirror comes in. i refuse to drive it with damage...pet peeve of mine. so the mirror should be here on the 1st and then i gotta paint it to match/install.
so right now the excursion is sitting with alittle snow on it out of the way in the driveway.
a tree got the pass side mirror glass for those who missed that
new mirror in today. going to pick up paint tomorrow and get that done. had to put it on though! great price $91 for a '02 power heated towing mirror i did not think that was bad. got it from rockauto.com. seems well built.
i really never run them in/out but i paint them with them out just in case. i guess i should check the drivers side and see what it looks like after a year and a half.
yeah i was up wayyyy too late last night in the garage. but i got alot done
rolled 123k a few days ago, changed the oil also. put a new 35W 6000K HID kit in it. the 55w kit was having issues and i never noticed much difference between the two.
otherwise put gas(alot ) in it and go! i love this truck
visited with my old Exs few weekends ago also. the '04 is still going strong!
also instlled my new side lights, the old ones were falling apart.
yes Gerry, it seems they all need something every month. just when you think your ahead you realize you have a oil change or taillight out or something! but i would not have it any other way
