New Pics & Random Stuff

Okay, minus your hood, this picture is pretty enough to be on the front of a Christmas card. Seriously.
Another FINE pictorial, Russ. You are talented with taking pictures. That shot of the mountains in the distance is another pic that could go on a card ( minus your hood, again).
Well done, my man, well done. Makes me absolutely want to move to Alaska. My family is from northern Minnesota so the weather is about the same!!
Thanks for the diversion,

Karl

you can see which is better snow snow/ice!

since i had the wheels off i checked on my brakes. the power slot cryo rotors are looking great! bout 5k on them now with no issues!
i was using a Uhaul trailer thats said to be about 2,200 LBS. the first load was a 1997 dodge caravan that weights around 3544 lbs. so combined weight of 5,700 pounds and some change. i did not hardly notice it back there! plenty of power and tracked perfectly.

since my friend was following me with my '98 explorer i thought why waste gas driving 2 trucks home so we loaded the explorer on the trailer. this time it was a combined weight of 7,200 pounds. again truck handled amazing! no trailer brakes meant stoping alittle sooner but even at highway speed it was perfect. lots of power up the hills..ect

came home unloaded the explorer and figured hey..i could fill up 2 trucks at once why not load up the expedition and take it down to the gas station. weight was close 8000lbs and it was def back there but still handled wonderful! got a few weird looks at the gas station though!

all in all a great day to stretch the excursions legs!
