Which front ATS springs did you go with?

X Code (Plow Prep) springs, could not be happier with them!

What is the height difference between the springs you previously had w/ lift shackles and the new X codes?

Looks like he got about 3/4 of an inch higher with new springs and returning to stock shackles.

Now I'm sitting about 1" higher then the previous setup. I was at about 39.5" with stock springs and 2.5" lift shackles. Now with stock shackles and X codes i'm at about 40.5".

All stock I was at 37" so I'm 3.5" higher then stock currently.

Thanks. Is that measurement from the center of the hub? That has to be from the ground right?

No that's from the ground to the bottom of the fender on level concrete slab. I've never done the hub measurement but I had planned to do it now with the new springs.

Click the IMG code at the bottom right of a open thread. Also copy the person's screen name.

Use this coding either SN between the brackets or a user number.

Example:

[ utag ] ufvj217 [/ utag] remove all spaces

@ufvj217

I'm thinking like you, that Apoc meant to post this in the other thread, so I moved his post.

I'd totally forgotten about this thread! I like keeping an ongoing post because it's fun to look back over the years.

Few new mods since the last real update. Might be missing some minor ones.
2017 f-350 chrome step bars mounted on my aftermarket brackets
20" Rigid light bar
Fab fours HD steel front bumper
LT 275/65r20 Cooper ST Maxx load range E summer tires

As she sits currently, when I got the new summer tires I had to put them on for a day to see how it looked. The studded snow tires will go back on to finish out winter.

Still a hair shorter then my friends 04 EB

Where the front sits with the new larger tires

Scored the tires slightly used for less then half price of new

New Years weekend I headed into a Blizzard to get some pics and a video.

Also added these new tow mirror lights

I have some road trips and camping trips planned to include the Ex and some mods in mind. I've only been putting about 2,500 miles a year on her these days since I drive my F-150 most of the time. I love this truck though and it ALWAYS puts a smile on my face!

Russ,
Your rig looks amazing, awesome job. Your summer tires and wheels really set it off!
