This Coleman 288A, dual mantle with hard case and reflector made it home and into my collection today. Dated 5-95 and cost me five bucks

I bought a nice copper funnel like the one above, and attached clear tubing to it. It's my go-to setup for putting oil in a manual transmission. I pulled the little copper felt out and threw it in the top drawer of my toolbox.

I've wanted one of the metal Coleman funnels (with the blue felt) but everyone seems to want $20 for a damn funnel. I have to settle for the plastic one I stole from the kitchen.

Skuzzy...

Your Coleman lamp is sweet. I picked up two of them togather at an auction a couple of years back. Not knowing what they were, other than they were a weird looking vintage Coleman type lantern I've never seen before. There was no interest other than me bidding, and I think I got them for 3 or 4 bucks for the pair.

One is made in Kansas, the other Canada

Those are cool. A bit newer than mine, but the same vintage.

I am still watching for a globe for mine, Guess I'll look for 3 globes now.....
