I am thankful I am alive and well, well, sort of well and I have a couple of great friends locally, and a bunch of friends on the FTE forums.

Agreed it seems people have become very selfish when driving.. it is that "Me first" mentality. I had an old man hit my slick in a parking lot recently.. he was driving a pious err uhh prius he stopped and started reading a map, not realizing he had not set the brake, or taken the car out of drive.. he rolled across the parking lot making no noise completely oblivious to the fact that he was moving, and ran into my truck as I was standing in the bed loading material for a job..... then he yelled at me for hitting him! I Pointed out the fact that I was standing in the bed of the truck with the doors locked, the brake set, my apprentice was laughing at him.. after a few seconds he realized he was wrong so he just drove away... "Hello Sheriffs department!" luckily the truck had no damage.. he hit my rear bumper! his little Pious err uhh prius had some damage though! he was picked up down the street in a drive through.

Just stay away from the outlet malls. No patience there.

Marge prefers the ones out near you, Sean, as they are the LEAST chaotic of those here in the Southland, or so she says.

Ah smart gal that Marge. On the bright side, Harbor Freight is just down the street. I've never experienced chaos there...

Outlet mall eh? Isn't that where they sell outlets? There is a Harbor Freight about a mile from here, and I never see it crowded.

Ahh, but the Harbor Freight just down from Sean is "THE" Harbor Freight!

On everything in all their stores, somewhere it's printed, "Harbor Freight, Camarillo, CA".

That's Sean's Harbor Freight!

No kidding!!

Do I ever! I get to ride the bicycle w/ tot trailer in tow to HF, wander the store with a 5yr old for an hour, chatting nostop about future projects and what cool things we could do with a 20-ton press, a swivel castor or a 2' long jack hammer chisel, then ride home with some great memories.
