Yep. That was his tag line at the end of each show. Tongue-in-cheek, obviously. Other than the guy (Dez?)'s singing, I really enjoyed watching that one. Is it still on the air?
Have not seen it in a while. Hank is gone of course, and Dez had a followup show with Hanks son, Dash. But haven't seen that in a while either. Newellen Setters was it?
We saw Dez and Dash at an outdoors show within the last 3 or 4 years, and he did a little training demonstration. He was totally self taught in his technique. They were great dogs.
Carol and I both enjoyed that show, and we still tease each other about spoiling our "bird dog".
My uncle up in Idaho, who has always hunted behind Brittanys, has a good hunting partner who has Llewellyns. They might be a tad more popular up there, 'cause you sure don't see many around here!
Of course, some folks call any English Setter that does well afield a Llewellyn.
Thanks, Steve, for the link. I just enjoyed the nice photos of those working GSPs.
Well I'm still out here in YOUR neck of the woods...I fly home tomorrow...
Looking forward to Saturday as we fly to San Juan for an 8 day cruise and then 3 more nights in San Juan...we don't get back to Indiana until 10pm on the 29th!!!
Boy...I'm a day off! I thought it was Thursday today when I woke up. having Jimmy's hours cut back (off Monday) has really screwed up my schedule. LOL!
Happy Hump Day anyway!
